100th Shari's Restaurant Opens in Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS, ID--(Marketwire - September 9, 2008) - Shari's chain of 24-hour family dining restaurants reached the century mark this week with the opening of the 100th location in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

In addition to offering another dining choice to the Idaho Falls community, Shari's also brings new employment opportunities to the area. The restaurant has hired 90 local employees to staff the new restaurant.

Shari's Idaho Falls restaurant is located at 1330 W. Broadway. The building features an updated design for the chain, with an elevated tower topped with a skylight roof for a contemporary look, while retaining sections of the red tile roof and color palette that customers are familiar with from other Shari's locations. The interior has been designed to be warm and comfortable for customers, with the ability to seat nearly 180 guests at a time.

In addition to creating the site for Shari's, the site development resulted in the cleanup of the Broadway/I-15 Gateway arterial. This cleanup resulted in the creation of a beautiful decorative fence, landscaping and entrance monument at the north bound on-ramp of I-15 at Broadway Avenue in Idaho Falls.
